what i wore

welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy!  share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other!  i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things.  i’d love for you to join me!

what i wore

you’ll see some “summery” outfits this week because our temps were oddly in the 80’s all week!

this outfit was worn on a homeschool day.

shirt – thrifted {similar & similar} //  jeans – gap (super old) //  gold tennies – forever 21 {similar} //  earrings – nickel & suede //  cardigan – forever 21

what i wore

kids at school, worked around the house, worked with dad on the table we’re building

t-shirt – target //  jeans – forever 21 //  shoes – converse //  field jacket – stitch fix

these jeans are just so comfy, but i really need to patch that thigh hole.  it lost all the stitching covering it and now its like, hello thigh!

later friday – laundry day obvs.  visited neighbor friends and joined in an unexpected sand volleyball game.

t-shirt – target //  shorts – target{similar} // sandals – rainbow //  hat – zappos {similar}

church outfit, then later for a valentine’s date night.

sweater – gifted/thrifted // jeans – target //  sandals – target //  bracelet – noonday collection //  earrings – lisa leonard designs

i love these new sandals!  i have been looking for a pair of gladiator sandals for awhile that weren’t too aggressive looking, and these fit the bill!

quick change sunday afternoon for a family bike ride to a park for a valentine’s day picnic lunch.

shirt – forever 21 {similar} //  shorts – gap {similar}//  sandals – target //  necklace & earrings – lisa leonard designs //  hat – urban outfitters {similar}

kids had 2 days off this week, so its been a super casual one!

shirt – golden tote // shorts – target {similar} // shoes – converse

    Love the Target wrappy strappy sandals. Want to go try some on asap. Are they comfortable?

      i’ve only worn them a couple times, and they are pretty comfy. it takes adjusting the ties a few times til i got them not too tight or too loose, but other than that they were good. i imagine they will get better as the leather softens.

    Your church/Valentine’s outfit is so cute — I love those brown sandals! And I’m slightly jealous of your heat wave. We’ve just got new snow here in Oslo… Enough already!
