yes, please: rose quartz

one of pantone’s colors of the year is rose quartz, and it is oh so pretty!  its not a baby pink, not too bubble gummy, less peachy than blush, just soft and subtle and beautiful.

i am loving it so much, so prepare yourself for an image heavy post!  in fact, i have a whole board dedicated to this pretty color.

these images give great ideas on how to decorate with this color – a single wall or partial wall painted, single pieces of furniture, accessories, bedding.  the key is all neutrals with single or minimal bits of the rose quartz.  when its paired with wood, light or bleached wood looks best.  my favorite of all is when its paired with copper – the pink brings out the rosiness of the metal.

Yes! That door! And the home accents you picked are sweet as is that beaded top. I enjoyed this post and had no idea this was a popular color right now? I’ve always enjoyed some pink in my life and especially in my bedroom for a romantic touch as a mom of boy’s:). Im on a search for the perfect grey to go with the caramel/tan that seems to be on trend also. Thanks for sharing.

Touches of it are ok, but it reminds me.of the mauve of the 80s.

I love that kitchen wall! This post made me realize how pretty rose quartz looks with copper tones. So pretty!

Rose Quartz would make such a pretty color for a girl’s room. And I have a pretty sweater and top in that color I’m really enjoying. I do remember talking to some guy friends in the 80’s or 90’s about the mauve trend, and they were pretty uncomfortable with it. So I guess it depends on your guy… mine would be super against anything pinkish for the master bedroom, kitchen, or main living area.
