what i wore

welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy!  share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other!  i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things.  i’d love for you to join me!

i am surprised how many outfit shots i was able to get this week because we have been buried under the flu this week!  thankfully, its not the vomit type flu, just fevers and body aches, but its been a long go.  also, lily and i have been able to squeak by unscathed somehow, but i’m ready for things to get back to normal!

also, winter is back!  after a week or so of summer-like weather, we are back to cooler weather and lots of rain.  and all the green hills said AMEN!

everyday style at the pleated poppy

we had a small break in the fevers and went to see the toby mac hits deep tour a few hours away!

well this dress is just too short now, darn!  hey dress designer: please make cute dresses several inches longer for some of us – thanks!

i had another sick kid at home on sunday so we had to miss church.  i ran a few errands, so i had to get dressed.

cardigan – forever 21 //  dress (now shirt) – ross //  jeans – forever 21 {similar} //  ankle boots – charlotte russe //  necklace – lisa leonard //  leather earrings – nickel & suede

scarf – stitch fix

this scarf is a little thicker than i’d prefer for its length.  the colors are fun and its super soft, but it just feel like a bit much all up in my face!

Hi! Thank you for sharing links for everything you’re wearing. Can you tell us if the booties from Charlotte Russe are true to size or if they run big or small? Thanks a bunch.
