welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy! share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other! i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things. i’d love for you to join me!
really long pants required really high heeled wedge boots. the mistake was wearing them all day long! i wore this for a day of work at the thrift store, then work at home, then helped host an event at our school for the chamber of commerce. i love the proportions of this cropped shirt with leggy jeans.
top – forever 21 {similar, similar} // jeans – golden tote // ankle boots – target {similar} // necklace – evereve
i recently bought a pair of gladiator sandal from target that i love! but then i got these in my latest stitch fix, tried them on and… oh my goodness they were so comfortable that i had to keep them! i wore this saturday for lunch with local family and a date with silas. its one of those outfits that i have to remember because it was simple and comfortable but cute because of the shoes and earrings.
shirt – target // boyfriend sweater – old navy {similar} // jeans – zara // gladiator sandals – stitch fix // earrings – nickel & suede // necklace – lisa leonard designs
sunday – church and errands
shirt – old navy // sweater – zara // jeans – target {similar} // gladiator sandals – stitch fix // necklace – forever 21 {similar}
this is another one of those perfect every day outfits for me. my 10 year old actually wore something similar to church and i decided to copy her! i wore this for a meeting at the thrift store, work at home, and family growth group.
b&w stripe shirt – sheIn // cardigan – forever 21 {similar} // jeans – forever 21 {similar} // ankle boots – charlotte russe {similar} // earrings – nickel & suede // glasses – david kind
