welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy! share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other! i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things. i’d love for you to join me!
we have been summering real hard here, so i have been completely forgetting to take any outfit pics! but this one picture, this one basically puts it all in a nutshell for you: comfort. period. i wore this to run errands with the kids, go to the chiropractor’s (thank you, volleyball), and work at the thrift store for a bit. and it was 85*+ today so the sweater was just way too much (what was i thinking?!).
sweater – old navy // cut-off shorts – thrifted (similar) // tank – forever 21 // converse – nordstrom rack // glasses – david kind // necklace – lisa leonard designs // phone case – rifle paper co.

Even in comfort, you look adorable. And I can relate to the craziness, which leads to no outfit pics. Yesterday I had to bribe my 14 year old for a couple of shots. “If you take my pic, I’ll clean up your smoothie mess.” And yet I still press on. :) Thank you for hosting the link up!
Comfort is key, but you’re nailing it by keeping things cute still!
