what i wore

welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy!  share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other!  i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things.  i’d love for you to join me!

i’ve been helping coach my girls volleyball teams several days each week, so i find myself changing clothes a few times a day now!  workout clothes in the morning, regular clothes in the morning/afternoon, then workout clothes again for coaching.  i’m still in love with these pants from gray monroe!

shirt – be still clothing //  amberlee active pants – gray monroe // shoes –nike

another gray monroe favorite!  i knew our weather was going to heat up soon (its been over 100* the last few days!), so i wanted to take advantage of slightly cooler temps and wear this new top.  i wore this on a homeschool day and volleyball game day.

harlan tunic – gray monroe //  white jeans – target {similar} //  shoes –converse  //  earrings – nickel and suede

then came the heat!  saturday soccer and hang out at home, then dinner with friends and watched the cal poly volleyball game.

shirt – thrifted //  shorts – thrifted  //  sandals – target

last sunday our church had its annual fall kick off, where we do service in the park across the street from our church, then have a picnic lunch and tons of games and activities.  super fun, but again, over 100* so it was stinkin’ hot!

shirt – forever 21 //  shorts – banana republic outlet //  sandals – target //  hat – urban outfitters

worked in the thrift store, changing out the window display.  kids at school, then volleyball practice.

tunic – forever 21 //  shorts – forever 21 //  sandals – target //  leather tassel necklaces – made by me
