i got to do a little shopping with my girls at world market.  i love that store!  i could look at this bedding display all day long…

and this gumball necklace?  it fell into my basket and i had to take it home.

i found this yummy recipe, pinned it, and then, get this… i made it!  oh my goodness!  pumpkin chocolate chip bars via bake @350.  go now and make them.  if i can make them, so can you!

 i’m working on some crafty fun for a baby shower i’m hosting on saturday.  somehow, i convinced sean to help!

 while on a picture hunt, i went down a rabbit trail and found this pic of si.  i need to blow this one up really big.  love it.

my parents found this great spot in town to get free wood.  a little bit of that pile is now in my backyard!  no i just need to find some free time…

more boys ties are coming soon!  my intagram friends said they wanted big boy ties and men’s ties.  thoughts?

 oh my word, were my instagram friends opinionated on this rug (55 comments)!  i love love love the rug, but it really didn’t work with the shower curtain, so its going back.

 growth group is at our house this session – we have such an awesome group of kids!

 if you’re needing that extra something for an outfit, but not sure what that something is… put on an allora handmade rosette necklace.  i promise, it will work.

 lily asked as she was in bed the night before her birthday, “what are you making me for my birthday?”  so it was time to sew…

 and she loved it!

actually, she loved everything she got for her birthday so much that she wore them all together!

 we surprised her after school with a new haircut and getting her ears pierced!

 silas decided to do a little math with wiki stix!

 i got a happy mail from raising up rubies – so much fun, i don’t even know where to start!  see that wrapped fabric around the ruler?  that is fabric tape!!!!  i can’t handle it…

 to add to the crazy around here, not only are we hosting a tiny slumber party for lily’s birthday tonight, but i’ve got that baby shower in the morning on saturday.  just a little bit to do…

 lily asked last week if she finished her school work early if she could do an exercise video on my computer – how cute is that?

 gracie was given horse back riding lessons for her birthday and she is doing so well!  bad news:  we’re out of lessons.  good news: her teacher offered to let her work off her lessons by helping out around the stables – so fun!!!

 sean had his first triathlon last saturday.  knowing i wouldn’t be able to spot him in the sea of yellow caps, i took a fat sharpie and marked it with huge stars so i could find him.  it worked!  thank you silas for modeling it ;)

 making a fun little washi tape banner with my target washi tape (you can find it in the office supplies area)

 the kids made signs for the tri, which silas was displaying on sean’s back just before the race

 *sigh*

i cannot tell you how proud of sean i am!  this was his first sprint triathlon ever, and he got 2nd place in his age group, 7th overall!

 saturday was silas’ picture day for his soccer team.  its official: these are going to be the cutest soccer pictures ever.

the girls were invited to an 80′s party and asked for rock n’ roll music on the way there to get pumped up – they are hilarious!

 thankfully, our heat wave is gone!  but for a few days of 100* weather, it was yuck.  my friend’s pool was the perfect solution after school.

school went so well at home this week!  basically, homeschooling doesn’t come naturally to me so its definitely a lot of work.  but the kids were awesome and made me so proud!  here silas and lily were memorizing an emily dickinson poem.
