it all started with a book.

lily was given this adorable book from her aunt courtney last year for christmas.  really adorable.  i highly recommend it.

lily loves it!  its all about a little girl who had a favorite dress, then grew out of it, so her mom made the dress into a shirt, then into a skirt and so on, until it was just scraps.

this year for christmas, gracie decided to make some hair bows for lily just like the bows made in the book with the last scraps of the favorite dress.

but even better than that sweetness was the wrapping paper gracie made.  this is one of my favorite drawings she has ever done!
