what i wore wednesday

happy wednesday everyone!

thanks for joining me for “what i wore” wednesday.  for those of you who are new and think i am just a crazy person that likes taking pictures of herself, let me give a little background:  i started wiww because i needed accountability in the general appearance department as a stay/work at home mom.  i would go for days on end without leaving the house and stay in sweats or jammies all day (what was the point in getting dressed for homeschool days?).  but i started taking pictures of myself and i didn’t like what i saw, what my husband saw, or what my kids saw.  and now that i am putting in a little more effort and documenting it here, i feel better about myself, and am ready to head out of the house more often, rather than just going out in my sweats.  so many of you have seen yourself in my position and are joining up with me for accountability – thank you so much for the support!  this has grown so so much, which i never really expected.  but, i know there are many of you who have already taken pics, but are too afraid to link up.  so as a little encouragement, if we reach over 100 links this week, i’ll give you all a little present!  and i know the linky has been a little funky the last couple weeks and i’m hoping to work it out this week.  don’t worry – all the links are there, you just may have to click over to the linky to see them – sorry!

monday update

i missed my usual monday morning update, but i have excuses!

sean and i got away for  a quick trip this weekend!  we took the kids to disneyland on friday and then to sean’s mom’s surprise 65th birthday party, then left the kids with family over the weekend while we headed down to san diego.  with sean traveling as much as he has been lately it was very needed, and so. much. fun!  we got an amazing deal at an amazing hotel, walked around historic downtown, went to a movie, ate dinner at 9 o’clock, slept in until 9 o’clock, he went to the driving range and i went to the fabric store, the we ended the weekend with a friend’s wedding.

to top off the weekend, we picked up my sister and her fig (see her blog) on our way home and she’ll be with us for almost 2 weeks!  woohoo!

on the business front, i do have some updates:

1.  the teal petal pushers are back in stock!

2.  the heather grey petal pushers are still out of stock, but i was able to get the necessary fabric this weekend, so hopefully i’ll be getting to those soon (ish).

3.  2 of the sold out tiny pouches are back, but one has a little twist to it – i accidentally did a different ruffle on the houndstooth pouches, but it is still just as cute!

4.  thank you to so many of you who are grabbing the sunnies cases before they go into hibernation over the winter.  they’ll still be available for just a bit longer…

and the winner of the purple lemon designs giveaway is…
