what i wore

wiww banner

happy wednesday friends!  welcome to “what i wore” where we put a little bit of effort into ourselves to make a big impact on our days.  its amazing how a little thing like getting dressed in “real clothes” (not sweats) can make us feel more polished and able to take on our days!  if you want to join along, please do (rules below).

what i wore at the pleated poppy

even though i try to get dressed every day, on our homeschool days i tend to dress really casually.  so on days that i’m working, even if its still at home, i try to push myself just a bit more.

i like the contrast of the chunky sparkly necklace and leopard flats with the casual t-shirt.

a good jean jacket works with almost any outfit!  and it just worked out that my market tote went perfectly as well.

what i wore at the pleated poppy

jean jacket – forever 21

t-shirt – forever 21

jeans – old navy

flats – target

necklace – local boutique

market tote – my shop

and here’s a typical home day outfit.

I love that you’re casual, comfy and still look put together. Those little white Converse tennies are just too cute. I need a pair! Thanks for having me on your link up. Although next time I need to figure out how to crop my picture. Do you know if you can delete it and do over if it ends up not being cropped right? I couldn’t figure out how to do it.

Lindsey, I’m so glad to be linking up here! For two years I wore athletic clothes and shoes nearly every day because of plantar fasciitis. My foot still isn’t great, but at least I can wear cute clothes again, and I’m having fun putting things together! Thank you for the inspiration to get dressed and look nice each day. :)
