what i wore

wiww banner

hey friends!  getting back to real life after a nice long christmas vacation has been hard (i much prefer vacation).  i only put effort into my self on sunday for church, so thats all i have to share with you.

if you’re new here and don’t know what all this is about, i host a weekly link up where we share our weekly or daily outfits in order to inspire one another to put a little more time into ourselves.  as a stay-at-home mom, it is so easy to stay in pj’s or yoga pants all day, but i want to do more!  i want to feel good about how i look, whether its when i’m alone, with my kids, my husband or just to answer the door ;)

if you struggle to put those few extra minutes in, or just need new ideas to style what you already have in your closet, then take a look at the women linking up below, or better yet, join us!

do you wanna join me?  yay!  just follow the rules:

1. link to your specific blog post, not your blog’s main page. ex: http://thepleatedpoppy.com/2011/09/what-i-wore-wednesday-fall-inspiration/ not http://thepleatedpoppy.com/blog/.
2. please only link outfit related posts. your craft project may be adorable, or that may be a great giveaway, but this linky is for outfit related posts only – thank you!
3. please please please link back here to me so all this wiww stuff makes sense to your readers. and its just nice to do ;) grab a button from my sidebar (see the code box?).
4. check out as many links as possible! i am constantly inspired by so many outfits each week! and you will definitely find some new blogs that you’ve never stumbled upon

I started blogging six months ago for the same reason…to get out of my running pants! It has been so much fun! I love having the opportunity to meet so many different women and share style tips! Yours is a blog I read almost daily ( my daughter and I are learning to sew too). I linked up today! Blessings! Susan

There doesn’t seem to be a link to your contact info. Is that on purpose or a fluke on my computer’s part? My question if I was to contact you, was this: What about a KIDS What I Wore Wednesday!?? :)

      hi karla!

i actually have a couple places you can contact me: at the top there is a little envelope, and then just below in the coral box there’s a little envelope along with the social media icons. at both places you can send me a private email ;)

i actually do have a few people who participate in wiww with their kids, which is fine, but it was really designed to encourage women specifically. but you are more than welcome to link up with pics of your kids if you want!
