what i wore

Hi all!  Thanks for coming to my weekly outfit post.  I always feel like I need to clarify that I am not a big fashion blogger.   I clearly don’t have a professional  photographer (although that sure would be fun!), and I don’t have a huge clothing budget.  I do love shopping and finding new styles, but I also find so much satisfaction in pulling together outfits out of my own closet, with items I already own.  I am a pretty basic girl – I love jeans and a white t-shirt more than anything, but I also enjoying trying new things and getting creative.  My hope is that you can relate to me here, and maybe get some inspiration if that’s what you’re looking for!

I wore this to church on Sunday.  I am not super comfortable wearing ankle boots with dresses or skirts, but it looks better than I thought.  I picked up this dress from Old Navy when it was 40% off the whole store/site and I am so happy with the length!  The cardigan was helpful early in the morning, but we’ve had over 80* weather for the last week!

Monday was such a warm day!  This weather is wacky and it is warmer than even our summer weather typically is.  I love love love this dress – it is the epitome of comfort.  The sweater was another one of those Stitch Fix finds that was a definite keeper.

I think the fact that you’re not a fashion blogger is what makes these posts so relatable and great!
